Brotherhood Truth Sheets

Weekly Truth Sheets were "Spiritual and Healing Messages of Love." They have a coloured paper cover (no staples) and include some daily activities at the Retreat.

Notes of interest: Will be celebrating Easter, members may invite non-members to join them.

Notes of interest: They are busy packing to move to the Retreat next month. The Retreat hills are covered with wild flowers and Pine trees in the background. Only a few more spaces for membership are available.

1950's:

Notes of interest: They are having an Indian Summer with no cold weather. Flowers are blooming and deer sightings. They have had many visitors. They are pouring floors, installing furnaces. The well is complete, two 1000 gallon tanks with a pump. Linoleum has been laid in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms in the dorms. Materials are there to build a water turbine if there is no electricity. Planning to stucco the outside of the Temple before winter.

Notes of interest: Dr. Doreal will be giving a lecture which will be open to the public. They are training firemen. Thanking Castle Rock and Sedalia firemen for bringing Fire Trucks. Sonya Doreal and her mother, Mrs. Swanderer, attended the Republican Meeting at the home of Harold Senter. The speaker was Mr. John Nichols from Elbert County, Candidate for the State House of Representatives. The 4-H garden club came to visit and see some gardens.

Notes of interest: The weather has been changing from dry to wet, has been raining for quite some time. Then rain changed to snow, that has since cleared. Said Teachers Class Lessons (large 8 1/2 x 11) were $350.00, they have now printed new ones, dividing them into 25 parts at $10.00 each.

Notes of interest: Had 12 inches of snow. Average moisture for the area has been 16 inches, last 2 years it was about 8.

Notes of interest: Had some snow. If the snow hasn't damaged the trees, they should have choke cherries and plums in the fall. Many people are now planting their fruit trees for future years. It is the last week of school for the children and then they are for summer vacation.

Notes of interest: Cool, damp weather changed to nicer weather, but forecasters have warned cold weather is coming. There is a 4 bedroom house up for sale for $5000.00. They are working on putting together a book of Dr. Doreal's Interpretation of Revelations. A new Truth Center has opened in Portland, Oregon.
